Your community learning center
Our Learning Hub is an educational space for nonprofit board, executive directors, staff members, and donors. Each year, the Hub offers dozens of events, workshops, and learning circles that promote leadership, skill building, and peer-supported growth. The opportunities we offer are uniquely structured to elevate the needs and opportunities of organizations in northern New Mexico, including smaller and rural nonprofits, and to honor the diversity in our state. Join us as we learn, together.
BIPOC Leaders Growing Nonprofit Power Together
This support group for new and aspiring BIPOC nonprofit leaders will focus on the foundational and evolving knowledge needed to successfully run a sustainable organization from the ground up.
Executive Director Learning Circle
Since 2015, this program has provided space for learning and peer dialogue among nonprofit executive directors with all levels of experience, serving northern New Mexico nonprofit organizations.
Federal Grants: Identifying, Writing, and Reporting
This three-session grant writing cohort is designed to help nonprofit organizations improve grant writing skills and increase their chances of securing funding.
Fuelworks Pilot: Addressing Financial Instability in Nonprofit Organizations
In 2025, the Santa Fe Community Foundation’s Learning Hub is partnering with the Revjen Group to pilot the Fuelworks program in northern New Mexico. Fuelworks is a dynamic revenue infrastructure workshop. The training gives nonprofit leadership teams the tools to reframe their approach to revenue—from the ground up.
Fundraising Immersion
The Fundraising Immersion is an intensive deep dive into fundraising best practices and basic tools needed to create and maintain a thriving culture of philanthropy in your organization. This six week immersion will focus on the fundamentals of building a strong development program and is perfect for Executive Directors and Development Directors of nonprofit organizations in northern New Mexico trying to develop their Development Plans and Case for Support. Nonprofit board members are welcome as well.

This program is designed specifically for current nonprofit board members, and provides an overview of the nonprofit sector and its structure as well as support, knowledge, and skill-building around the fundamentals of board participation.
On the Ground
The Learning Hub is excited to host a variety of nonprofit learning opportunities "On the Ground" across northern New Mexico. Join us at various locations in San Miguel, Mora, Rio Arriba, and Taos.
Racial Healing and Renewal Cohort
This program offers space to explore various perspectives on race, engage in meaningful discussions, and learn from one another. Together, we aim to foster empathy, challenge biases, and build bridges towards a more inclusive society. Whether you are an advocate for racial justice, a curious learner, or simply interested in making a positive impact, our Racial Healing and Renewal Cohort welcomes individuals from all backgrounds in the nonprofit sector. Let's come together, listen, and grow as we embark on a journey towards racial healing and renewal.

A transformative two-year journey for women of color leaders in New Mexico's nonprofit sector. This program weaves together cultural wisdom, professional development, and healing practices to support your leadership growth and community impact.

Understanding and Mitigating High Staff Turnover

Address the pressing issue of staff retention through peer-based problem-solving. Participants will share retention success stories, share effective strategies, and collaborate on developing practical solutions for building stronger teams. The session will include breakout discussions on competitive benefits, workplace culture, and professional development opportunities, providing a comprehensive approach to building a more resilient and engaged staff.
