Nizhóní Smiles
Nizhóní (Beautiful) Smiles Dental Program is the only non-profit dental program located on the Navajo Nation in the rural community of Shiprock, New Mexico. The program opened its doors in 1994 offering orthodontic(braces) services and later expanded to include general dentistry. The program has provided services to numerous patients, the majority of those being residents of the Navajo Nation.

Environmental Justice Advocacy Coordinator

The Environmental Justice Advocacy Coordinator coordinates and implements projects and/or programming related to environmental justice issues such as land, air, and water. Through active engagement in dialogue and community organizing, this role cultivates strong alliances that align with a common goal of advocating climate and environmental justice, prioritize effective communication, and actively cultivate strong relationships with community members. (Full time: 35 hrs./week. Rate: $20/hr.)

The Environmental Justice (EJ) program is seeking a program assistant who can be responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, directing, and implementing of projects under the EJ program. This position will provide general office support and administrative assistance to all EJ program areas. (Part time: 25 hours/week. Rate: $18/hour)
Environmental Justice Program Manager

The Environmental Justice (EJ) Program Manager will have primary responsibility and oversight of the projects / programming under the EJ Program, including to provide supervision for all staff and interns under the projects under this program, managing and maintaining budgets, expenditures and grants, develops and implements community outreach strategy, and maintain, implement and update program goals. (Full time: 40 hr./week. Rate: $25/hr.)
