This event is part of the Learning Hub program Fundraising Immersion. The Santa Fe Community Foundation proudly offers the Learning Hub as an educational space for nonprofit board, executive directors, staff members, and donors. Each year, the Hub offers dozens of events, workshops, and learning circles that promote leadership, skill building, and peer-supported growth.
This six week immersion will focus on the fundamentals of building a strong development program and is perfect for Executive Directors and Development Directors of nonprofit organizations in northern New Mexico trying to develop their Development Plans and Case for Support. Nonprofit board members are welcome as well.
The 2025 program will be in person at the Santa Fe Community Foundation and will be held every Tuesday from 9am – 12 noon, beginning on April 8, 2025.
The program runs for 7 weeks (no class on week 5, May 6) and will take place in-person at the Santa Fe Community Foundation at 501 Halona St. in Santa Fe. Minimal homework will be assigned weekly. Through the homework, participants will tailor the tools and templates provided in this course for their organizational use. Participants will use week 5 (no session) to tailor the Case for Support and Development Plan which they will have the opportunity to present for feedback in the final 2 sessions. Each session builds on the one before and participants are asked to be present for all 6 sessions.
