Resilience Rising: MolinaCares Accord's Commitment to Local Behavioral Health
In response to last spring's wildfires, the Santa Fe Community Foundation activated its Community Resiliency Fund to provide immediate, emergency relief. Among the first supporters of the fund was The MolinaCares Accord, whose $25,000 gift played a pivotal role in addressing local behavioral health needs.

Addressing Behavioral Health Needs in New Mexico

Yet, we are also coming to recognize that our awareness of behavioral health needs far outstrips the funding and resources that are available to meet those needs. In northern New Mexico, this gap translates to a shortage of providers and lengthy wait lists at community behavioral health agencies.
National Indian Youth Leadership Project: Project Venture
Founded and rooted in New Mexico, the National Indian Youth Leadership Project has been working over three decades to help Indigenous youth to embrace their potential through outdoor adventure and service. Its flagship program, Project Venture, was created under the guidance of Indigenous elders to strengthen and increase protective factors and reduce risk factors that predispose Indigenous adolescents to negative and risky behaviors.
